This week, Joyce and I decide to take part in the project of VR-Desktop.
To our surprise, only we two are the members of the group.
We discussed about the project and make the general plan.
In total, our project has at least 3 stages:
1st -- make 4 vr desktops and show them in one 360 environment
2nd -- show the scenes in the first stage in a mobile service
3rd -- realize the interaction between person and the environment

This week, we made some preparations for the project.
We download the game engine -- Unity and install it.
Also, we start to learn how to use unity and get to be familiar with the different parts of unity.

This week, we find a good helper for our project: unity store.
In the store, we find many interesting assets and templates that can be used in our project.
By learning about the templates, we find us more clear about the structure of a project in unity and how to make the best use of modules in unity. Also, we download several templates which are similar to our requirements.

This week, we tried to build a world in unity by ourselves.
Joyce made a village. She imagined a person in the world and the person can walk all around the village.
He can see trees, rivers, hills, stones and many many in the village just as in real world. And we can hear the footstep from the person.
So this world has realized several necessary function in unity. We even tried to realize the interaction between people and the world by adding the function that when we touch a wood, it can be picked up and thrown to another place.

This week, we had an important meeting with our adviser and he has some different opinions about our project.
After discussion, we changed our direction and decided to complete just some parts of a VR Desktop.
We want to realize the function of moving a screen casually in unity world. During the movement, the size and shape of the screen would both change. In order to complete this, we should do some mathmatical modelling and find some new function of unity.
